LELIBA Tai – Ergonomic Halfbuckle Baby Carrier

The LELIBA Tai is an ergonomic halfbuckle baby carrier designed for families who want flexibility, comfort and a close, natural carrying experience from the very beginning.

The combination of a buckle waistband and wrap-style shoulder straps allows for quick handling while still offering a highly individual fit for both baby and wearer. The wide shoulder straps spread the weight evenly across the shoulders and back, creating a soft and supportive carrying experience, even during longer days.

Designed together with babywearing consultants, the LELIBA Tai combines ergonomic support, thoughtful details and everyday practicality.

Grows naturally with your baby

The LELIBA Tai can be adjusted continuously to fit your child’s size and stage of development.

The adjustable seat width supports an ergonomic spread-squat position (M-position) and allows the carrier to adapt from newborn age well into toddlerhood. Three different waistband loops make it possible to create an especially narrow setting for very small babies.

The back panel height can also be adjusted individually. A shorter setting supports newborns, while the extended panel offers more support for older babies and toddlers. Once your child prefers having their arms outside the carrier, the shorter setting can easily be used again.

Additional diagonal drawstrings inside the back panel allow the fabric to shorten evenly while maintaining broad, supportive tension across the baby’s back without creating pressure points. This helps support a free airway and provides additional lateral stability.

Thoughtful comfort for everyday life

The ergonomic waistband adapts comfortably to the wearer’s body and helps distribute weight evenly to reduce strain on the shoulders and back.

Removable shoulder pads can be positioned individually, partially used or removed completely depending on personal preference and carrying style.

The adjustable hood can be gathered, attached to the shoulder straps or removed entirely. It offers gentle support for your baby’s head and neck, especially while sleeping, and can also extend the height of the back panel when needed.

Small hidden pockets with elastic bands at the end of the shoulder straps allow the straps to be rolled up and secured neatly, preventing them from dragging on the floor.

Made from 100% cotton (organic), the carrier feels soft, breathable and gentle against the skin.

As a natural material, we recommend avoiding prolonged direct sunlight in order to preserve the colour intensity over time.
