A Whole Village......

There is an old saying:

"It takes a whole village to raise a child."

The older we get, the more we believe there is a lot of truth in those words.

In the past, young families were rarely alone.

There were grandparents, neighbors, friends, siblings, and other parents. People who had gone through similar experiences and shared what they had learned.

Not from books.

Not from the internet.

But from real life.

People would ask:

"Is this normal?"

And someone would answer:

"Yes, we went through that too."

People would ask:

"Why does my baby only sleep in my arms?"

And someone would say:

"It will pass. Ours was exactly the same."

People would ask:

"Am I doing this right?"

And the answer would be:

"You're doing a wonderful job."

Today, the world often looks a little different.

Many new parents sit on the sofa in the middle of the night. Their baby has finally fallen asleep on their chest, and they search the internet for answers.

Sometimes that helps.

Sometimes it only creates even more uncertainty.

Because between perfect photos, perfect homes, perfect babies, and perfect parents, it is easy to feel like you're doing something wrong.

Yet in our babywearing consultations, we see something very different every day.

We meet parents who are tired.

Parents who feel unsure.

Parents who love their baby more than anything and still feel like they don't know enough.

And we witness something beautiful:

Almost none of these questions are new.

Most of them have been asked hundreds of times before.

By other mothers.

By other fathers.

By families whose children are now in kindergarten.

By families whose children have started school.

By parents whose children are already grown up.

And that is exactly why we want to bring a little of that village back to life.

Not as baby carrier manufacturers.

Not as people who claim to know everything.

But as parents, babywearing consultants, midwives, and families who have been fortunate enough to gather many experiences over the years.

In this section of our Knowledge Tree, we want to share that knowledge.

Knowledge from real conversations.

From babywearing consultations.

From families who had the same questions you have today.

From parents who shared the same worries.

From people who have already walked this path.

You may not find the perfect answer to every question here.

But perhaps you'll find something even more valuable:

The reassurance that you are not alone with your questions.
